How We Began
Do you know my name?
When I was helping at a local food pantry, I quickly learned how important it was to learn names. Every week, people would wait to see if I could remember who they were. They needed to know that they were more than a number in line for food.
Many of our Monument neighbors are hungry for more than simply food. Isolation, loneliness, and poverty keep them in a cycle of discouragement.
At Hands and Feet, our priority is showing an alternative to despair by going to our neighbors. We believe if Jesus searched for those lost in the crowd, so can we.
